I can’t even begin to tell you the road I have traveled to get where I am.
Living in complete martyrdom for so many years, confused by misunderstanding my thoughts and what to do with them.
I shamed myself into depleting my value and my worthiness.
The truth I believed for so many years about myself deteriorated relationships, success and even my bank account.
I finally said no more.
Loving yourself is about being in touch with the untouchable part of you.
Take a walk with me down the path to self- love.
Self-Love Enlightenment
Let’s explore a little more about the untouchable part of you.
Most people see us as having a soul, spirit or essence that we know leaves our physical form when we “die”.
That’s the real you.
The unbreakable, untouchable, perfect, whole and complete YOU.
Our physical forms only house us and allow us to experience life in the human form.
Therefore, we are all the same. We are all connected, our energies never separate.
This is a truth that is hard for us to grasp since our ego tells the story from a “Me” or “I” perspective.
The ego definitely doesn’t like to get blended into oneness.
When the lines are muddled of where I end, and you begin then I can’t be more important than you and I lose my personal identity.
With oneness, self-love means that in loving you, I love me and in loving me I am loving you.
There is no end or beginning there is only love always.
When we disidentify ourselves and see others as us, we love without reservation.
I want you to think about the support that occurs when tragedy happens in the community, in families and even in the workplace.
Each group of people does there best to uplift, support and love on the others in the group.
We put aside our differences to operate from this place, it happens naturally because of our oneness as humans.
Self-love is so important because it brings out the higher level of energy that allows us all to thrive.
We remember there are no boundaries between us and that everyone wins when we blur the lines of separation.

Begin again in the present
If you are a do-er then this section is going to pique your curiosity and make you feel crazy at the same time.
You aren’t going to have as much action as you hope.
This section is about awareness, the hardest thing you can do is notice where you are in your mental state.
I’m going to share with you a few things that have helped me tremendously to get where I am today.
And, I still have work to do, I believe we always will.
Surrender to what is
We all have gotten to the point we are in life by pushing away the things we don’t want to address.
We all have a shadow side or dark side.
Because we judge ourselves and everyone else so harshly, we don’t want the world to know that part of us exists.
We deny ourselves the feelings that come naturally, those feelings show us what we need to work on in this life.
What happens when we resist and push those feelings away is that we close our hearts.
Therefore, we don’t feel love and we certainly can’t give it.
When you surrender to what is you create a space for the energy to flow through you and open yourself up to limitless possibilities.
You also open yourself to experiences with other people that will lead to deeper level connections.
A little something I believe we all could use more of.
Accept what you can’t change
If you have a pulse you have a past and a story that goes along with it.
Luckily that means all of us.
We all wish we would have done things differently, or not at all.
We also like to bring the past into the future.
Predicting what will happen based off past experiences is our specialty.
We spend a lot of energy attempting to rework the story and make it different.
I’m not sure we even realize, that’s never going to happen, and the more you focus your energy on the past the more similarities you will find in the future.
Thoughts are energy and they can create and manifest things into the physical realm.
My point is if you aren’t interested in reliving the past over and again, don’t focus your energy there.
Typically, this results in continued martyrdom, judgement and ill feelings toward the story.
How on earth can you expect to love yourself if you are busy beating yourself into a bloody pulp?
Just stop it…Right now!
You can’t change the past; you can only change the way you tell the story.
It cannot and will not be any different than it is.
Once you accept this as fact you can then leave it where it belongs, behind you.

Ignore your ego
Michael Singer says in his book “The Untethered Soul,” “Imagine the inner voice you have within is an external person, your best friend.”
How long would you hang out with them?
If the answer is “Not long at all,” then you need to start ignoring those egoic thoughts and listen for the wisdom that resides inside of you.
See we all have the good and the bad thoughts.
Most of us unknowingly gravitate to the negative thoughts.
The negative thoughts are the ones telling you that you aren’t good enough, smart enough or talented enough.
Those thoughts will always come throughout your life.
And, with the attention that you give them you decide to allow them to take up residence in your mind.
The positive thoughts come too, however; we don’t engage them nearly as much as we should.
We are always looking for proof that what we tell ourselves is true.
Therefore, the more you attach to the negative the less you believe in yourself.
What if your thoughts are just another thing in the universe?
Like a chair or a pencil…
You could easily just walk right by those items with no attachment.
I challenge you to do that with the negative thoughts as well, don’t give them attention.
They lie, they hurt, and they steal your dreams.
It may not be easy to do at first, and as you work out that muscle, I promise it will get stronger.
Imagine that thought as a balloon and pop it, let it go or watch the air fly out of it, this can make it easier to find humor in the presence of the negative thought.
What you should know
This may be a little hard to believe.
I assure you it came straight from my heart and I mean it for each one of you.
I love you…I want you to know how proud I am of you.
You are such an amazing person.
I want you to always follow your dreams.
Trust your instincts and love as hard as you can as much as you can.
Don’t ever be afraid of being hurt, because love always triumphs.
You will always be great no matter how many times you fail… Failure will teach you …pay attention and learn from it.
Always look within to change the way you see anything.
Life is full of things you give those things meaning.
Always let the thoughts go that hold you back.
Hold on to the ones that make you feel great… That is where true wisdom lives.
