Where is your heart?

As I woke this morning that was the question that was clear in my head but I didn’t yet have the answer.

I thought all day about how I could figure this out.

Then life showed me the answer.

A circumstance arose where someone questioned my intent and my character, they had completely different beliefs then I did about them.

Now I’m not saying they’re not entitled to their beliefs, but as a result they decided our relationship was disposable.

I respect their choice and don’t see it as a negative or positive, but somehow their opinion of me became distorted by their interpretation of our encounters.

This is exactly how two people can go through the same thing and come out with a different perception.

If they read this they will know who they are, I can’t do anything about their feelings.

I have to know my heart was looking for connection, love and forgiveness.

All the things I wish for them in life.
