Do you long for the day when things will be different in your life and you won’t suffer any longer?
You are not alone. We don’t like to admit it but we all worry about the future.
We all have moments and days like this.
And getting out of that headspace can be a challenge.
Today I’m here to show you how today can be someday.

Being in the present moment to make today someday
I know I stress this all the time, I’m certain I sound like a broken record.
And I will likely say it thousands more times in my blog posts, podcasts and to anyone who will listen.
I never knew until I did and even then, it took time to understand how phenomenal this little trick really is for us.
Once I asked a coach, Kristy Halverson, who I was working with “How do you know when you are present?”
Her response was hilarious, and it was one she had heard from a mentor of hers, Michael Neill.

He says, and I’m paraphrasing, “It’s like the difference between a punch in the face and oral pleasure, you just know.”
You, just as I, know there is a huge difference in that.
There is relaxation, joy, and yes, even pleasure.
Doesn’t that sound more enjoyable than pain, martyrdom, and guilt.
I certainly think so.
Exercising your muscles to make today someday
I’m not talking about your physical muscles or sexual ones in this section.
Do you know how they say “It’s like riding a bike, you never forget.”?
My impression of that statement is that it’s misleading.
It tells me that because we have learned something, we can’t unlearn it.
In my world that’s just not true.
Perceive if you can, a vision where you are living your best life however, that looks for you.
If you can see it, it’s available to you. And, are you ready for this?
Even when you can’t see it, it’s still available to you.

This takes practice, awareness and building those mental muscles.
You get to be ready where you are to have what you want today.
This is the work we do internally to have what we desire externally.
Happiness comes from you, not the people you are with, the things you have or even the thoughts you think.
We have no control over any of those things.
Your birthright is happiness.
Focus your energy on allowing that happiness and today can turn into someday instantly.
Allowing the perfection of life to make today someday
We think we know how things are supposed to work out for us in many situations.
There have been many times I have wanted to fast forward through a circumstance in my life.
And, hindsight tells me that I couldn’t have orchestrated it better than the way it happened.
The challenges we face help us stretch and grow so that we can elevate ourselves to a new level of consciousness.
What shows up in our space is always information.
Information is neutral until we create the stories with judgment from the information.
We experience many highs and lows through these stories.
You need to understand you can’t get it wrong. As my current coach, Beth Marshall, says “You’ve already won.”
Let that shit sink in. Only our ego tells us that it can’t possibly be true.

Perfection lies in the unseen. Faith. Hope. Trust. Surrender. Knowing.
A lot of times our fear comes from the stories we tell ourselves about past experiences.
Things always work out, reflect on your life and recognize that when you were being those ways in the past how absolutely perfect it turned out.
You can be present, by building the awareness muscles of faith, hope, and trust to help you live your best life today.
