As I continue to work with people I noticed we all have a lot of What-ifs?
What if I fail?
What if things go wrong?
What if I can’t make it work? Etc…
There’s actually a love song out there called “What If” sang by Kane Brown, and I love how the writer turns the negative around and goes for all the possibilities that are available.
What if this is it, what if it’s meant to be. ~Kane Brown
We need to remind ourselves to do that more in our circumstances.
Tell me what good comes from worry?
My coach taught me that worry is something we used to do to protect ourselves in preparation of the wild we would encounter in the Paleolithic era, technically the wild beasts.
It was our brain’s way of trying to protect us.
However, in this current time we don’t have those same circumstances.
So the next time you noticed yourself and worry, ask what am I trying to protect myself from and is the concern something I can control the outcome of?
When you look for possibilities and opportunities in life you’ll never worry about the protection of what your future has to hold.
