A fortunate event

Life isn’t a bull we can take by the horns, but we do get to create what we want in it.
This weekend I had a minor accident, I’m currently sporting a black eye.
I’m thankful that things happened so mildly, and even that they happened.
It gave me the window of opportunity to look at where I was being courageous and see where I was still playing small in my life.
A crook in the path
Things changed, even though it’s a minor shift, it was enough to realign me to the path that I know I want.
Everything happened perfectly for me to see what I needed to see.
It doesn’t take a near-death experience to take a closer look at what you can do differently.
Your wake up call can happen at any moment, you can’t always predict it.
We don’t always get to go from point a to z, sometimes we have to jump from a to j, back to d, then to s, until we finally reach the end goal.
There is always a purpose for each crook in the path, something you need along the way to complete your journey.

Life is fragile, to be handled with kid gloves, and still be expressed uniquely with your gifts and talents.
I’m still here, on this Earth, in this beautifully bruised body, that means I still have more I get to share.
More chances to make a mark on people’s hearts and for this generation of humanity.
I don’t always know what that looks like, I do know I’m leading with my heart, and that means I can’t fail.
The time is now, don’t wait to set it all in motion, always lead with love and trust that you will reach your destination.
You are meant for great things, this is your gentle nudge.
