Have you ever just wanted something so badly that you couldn’t stand the fact that it hadn’t already happened?
There are so many lessons in situations like this that we can become more clear on our ways of being and how to better navigate life.
Urgency steals your sense of well being and knocks you on your duff.
The process starts simply, then blooms into oblivion.
Learn how to move back into a peaceful mentality with your awareness of these causes.
Being overwhelmed and the pressure of urgency it causes
I love common humanity because it shows us how connected we are to one another.
It allows us the confirmation that we are not alone, even when we see with our physical eyes the separation.
When we are in the midst of unfavorable situations we forget that other people experience the same.
And with social media perceptions, it’s even harder in this day and age to not want to live a charmed life.
Our thoughts cause us to feel bogged down and like we should be doing something.
Anything, even if it is spinning our wheels in the mud.
We don’t like to admit when those thoughts have us feeling less than and wanting more, to be better and different than we currently are.
Listen to how much pressure that causes. We think and believe we are failing.
Everyone has experienced this sense of overwhelm and I promise they have come out on the other side alive.
These are only ego thoughts, they aren’t true about you. You are not those thoughts, recognize when they come and ignore them.
Your awareness of your thoughts can help you relax and choose where to focus your energy.
Focus on the ones that make you feel good.
Our impatience of the process implores urgency
I recognize that at times I think I have to do everything all by myself.
It doesn’t matter if I’m working in business, taking care of the family or meeting a goal.
The weight of the world (or my little world) is a heavy burden to carry, and we don’t have to do that to ourselves.
I’m not sure about you, however, I watched as my strong-willed parents worked tirelessly to make everything happen.
Realizing not until later in life that we limit ourselves with that mentality.
Humans become impatient wondering why what we want isn’t happening.
We forget to trust the process. Surrender to the higher calling and let everything happen in divine timing.
Our “need” to control our circumstances inhibits our ability to surrender.
There is very little, if anything, that we have control over.
Maybe our reaction to life, and even then it’s questionable.
There is perfection only in the process of the way life flows, and since that’s the only place you can find perfection embrace all the perfection you are since you are the flow of life itself.
Urgency begins with righteousness
There is no wrong way to do things, as many mistakes as we think we have made.
The judgments we put on ourselves are what we have created mentally. We put them on others as well.
Not only do these judgments separate us from others; they also make us embody the more, better, different mentality in a way that doesn’t serve our oneness.
For the majority of us, it’s very easy to fall into a trap of righteousness.
We love the attention of being an expert or the drama of an argument, it feeds our ego.
Our ego likes to confuse us. Yet spirit wants to do for the greater good and doesn’t judge behavior.
Everyone is on their path, doing what they are meant to do.
The reason I believe this affects urgency in our lives is that we want to fix everyone else.
How can we do that when we believe we, ourselves, are broken?
When you are whole, you can only see the wholeness in others.
You no longer need to tell them what to do, or how to do it.
None of us have problems, are the flow of life, pure perfection.
We screw up the flow when we halt that perfection because we think we should be different, or our actions should be done differently.
Let everything happen as it should at the right time. When you feel led to help the process along, check-in to see if it’s causing you a sense of urgency.
If it is, then just relax and trust the process. When it’s not you can count on the fact that your higher calling is leading you down the perfect path where all your dreams come true.
